MCI Q1 2015: Up and away! The US powers to a new high in 2015

Millennium Research Group’s US medtech confidence index (MCI) reached new heights in Q1 2015, rising to its highest score so far and marking four consecutive quarters of increases. The increasingly positive score points to rising confidence in the national economy and procedure volume outlooks, while optimism surrounding facility financial health stayed flat—these represent the three metrics used to calculate the MCI. Europe also continued to rebound by rising into positive scores; however, the rest of the world slipped further from the highs of the past.
